Drugstore Haul + Bookstore Haul

Hey guys! So I went out today and picked up some gooodies. MAKEUP!! (I went to Rite Aid btw)---first impressions included! Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Sheerest Cream Blush in BEAMING- Really smooth, kind of reminds me of MAC's Lady Blush (not sure on that, though). Looks a little shiney, but for the summer it'll give that nice dewey look! *note, 10 minutes later, the shine went away, and left a nice stain on my hand. EOS Lip balm in TANGERINE- I have literally every EOS flavor out there, and I was at Rite Aid and I saw this in a pretty orange color and I went "OOOOH NEEEEEEEW" in a mesmorized voice. I'm pretty sad, I know haha. It smells odd though, it kinda smells like orangey Carmex and has a menthol feel to it. Dumb Rite Aid put a sticker saying "intended to be sold at Right Aid" or whatever and it covers up the description of the product. (WHICH PISSES ME OFF SO BADLY AND SHOULD BE ILLEGAL). I really feel like this one is really different than the others...I kinda prefer the others...but the color is cute and the product works. Just different smell/feel...Carmexy. Sally Hansen Lip Blush Plumping Balm- It smells like Sally Hansen's other plumping lip glosses, but this one has that thing where it "turns your perfect shade" and I'm not sure if it does that (because I haven't looked in a mirror haha, I'm sitting on my couch now and added some on my lips to see if it plumped and smelled the same, which it does). Jesse's Girl Lipgloss- First Jesse's Girl product ever. I got it really just to say I had tried something from this brand...and because I wanted something that smells like cotton candy (I got it in the flavor cotton candy) which it has an extremely light scent of cotton candy, very pleasent. It looks blue tinted in the tube but doesn't rly look blue on your lips. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in KISS ME CORAL- As y'all know Coral is totally in for Spring, so I figured I'd pick up a cheap drug store one to try it out. It seems like a really red toned coral....yeah Prestige Lipliner in POPPY- Again, my first product from Prestige, it's just a red colored lipliner, and it's my only red lipliner. IF YOU WANT ANY INDEPTH REVIEWS ON THESE MAKE SURE TO COMMENT BELOW AND ASK AND FOLLOW!!!!! FRENCH in 10 minutes a day- Kristina K Kershul (I can speak French, but I want to become completely fluent, so I got this to brush up) The Forgotten Garden- Kate Morton (I wanted a different kind of book than what I usually get and I can't wait to bury my nose into this book) The Other Life- Ellen Meister (This looks mind blowingly interesting, can't wait to read it!) The Teen Vogue Hand Book an Insider's Guide to Careers in Fashion- various authors I'm assuming because it doesn't say. (I don't really want to have a career in fashion -just because I don't feel like I have a unique eye for fashion- but I found this extremely interesting. IF YOU WANT A BOOK REVIEW ON ANY OF THESE COMMENT AND FOLLOW!!! -Annnna

Random vlog: Teen Mom 2

Okay, so right now I really feel like just giving my thoughts on each of the girls in Teen Mom 2. I'll start off with my favorite... Leah: Leah is the one girl that I like basically everything about. I think she's so pretty (except when she's ridiculously orange....that's disappointing). And...well...basically.. COREY IS SUCH A SWEET HEART. I love him.......awwww...he's just so cute. He's such a sweetie pie...him crying and stuff. He's not like all....cry cry though...he's not afraid to call out bullshit and stuff. He seems just so genuine. I really like them, because they seem to have almost everything together. They're handling a twin with medical issues remarkably well. Ok...I really just want to talk about Corey now. So I'm gonna make another paragraph explaining my love for Corey. I was born in the North but moved down to the South when I was five, and lived in the south from age 5 to age 12. When I was 12, I moved back to the North. Needless to say...I HATED THE SOUTH. I just wanted to move back up North where I was from....but...after living in the North for the past 4 years, I've really developed a thing for some southern boys....I used to think they were so damn annoying haha, but now I'm like...yum. It doesn't hurt that he's totally a sweetheart. Now, I don't think he's like that physically attractive...like he's not NOT attractive..but he's not like wow or anything...it's just the southern sweetheart that has drawn me in! Chelsea: Ok, I started off being really annoyed with Chelsea because of her "valley girl" sound, her orange skin, and totally fake everything else. It also annoys me how she's always going back to Adam. Yet, she's grown on me because I honestly think she's a good mom, and that's what counts...right? I think she's spoiled, but a good mom nonetheless. Aubrey is so cute too! Jenelle: Bad mom, bad role-model, unkind person. Yeah, I know...but I feel for Jenelle sometimes. Her mom is horrible in my opinion. Not that that excuses Jenelle's behavior, but I do feel bad for her sometimes. It does seem as if she's completely alone. Her mom hates her, Kieffer is an ass and is gone now and really never cared for her, Andrew (the baby's dad) is out in China or something, her dad has left, etc. Her friends don't seem like good friends either. I mean, I'm not condoning her actions, it's just....I feel for her...sometimes. Plus Jace is adorable! Kailyn: Hm...I really don't like her...I just feel like she's whining about her life all the time, and instigating fights between her and Jo. Jo's an ass, but she's doing the same thing to him. The only good thing is that she's balancing being a mom, working, and going to school remarkably well. It also sucks that her mom is completely uninvolved with her.

Review: L'oreal H.I.P Color Truth Cream Eyeliner (teal)

I went to my local CVS and saw this product and it called to me. I saw it and I thought "Hm, I have no color like that...the color is absolutely stunning, and y'know HIP always makes good products...or so I thought. Pros: -Color is absolutely beautiful -You get a lot of product (compared to other cream/gel liners) Cons: -I don't know if I just got a defective one, but it is extremely, extremely dry. I mean, seriously...it's bad. -When using a liner brush and you apply it in a line, it looks like you put an unpigmented crayon across your lash line. Very waxy looking. -If you use it as a base it creases extremely badly -If you use it as a base it looks sooooooo cakey. Bottom line: Save your money. *If you want to try it, then go ahead. Maybe I got a defective one. Any questions? Comment below!! Follow!? =) -Anna

I'm back with a 5 random facts tag!

Sorry, it's been a week since my last post. This week I've been really focused on school work and have just been really tired, so I've neglected this blog a little bit. To kinda get back into the swing of things, I figured that I'd do the 5 random facts tag, just so it's quick and hopefully entertaining. =) 1. I have had the most amazing oppurtunities to visit 14 different countries: America, the Bahamas, Greece, Turkey, Italy (including Sicily), Switzerland, England, France, Holland, (travelled through Belgium but saw the whole countryside), Germany, Malta, Spain, and Tunisia. 2. I absolutely love reading about, writing about, researching, planning, talking about post-apocalyptic survival. 3. Even though I'm not fully Italian, I consider myself pretty much Italian. It's the most predominant culture that I've been raised in, I appear very Italian, and my family (though not full Italian) has very Italian customs. So yeah, I pretty much act alll Italian. =) 4. I am unhealthily obsessed with Dr Pepper. The King of all Soft Drinks. For sure. 5. I wish I had some sort of talent....like I can't sing, dance, write, draw, paint, act, and I'm not particurally funny. I feel like I offer nothing to this world. I mean, really. I can't think of one talent I have besides being able to do well on tests and stuff....which isn't exactly unique or anything. I just wish I was exceptionally good at something...y'know? Something that I identify with, and is very personal to me. It just doesn't exist. =( Welp, there ya go! 5 random facts. Comment below with your 5 random facts! FOLLLOW PLEASE! -Anna

My (face only) Skin Care Routine

Step 1: I start off with removing as much makeup as possible with my Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towlettes.

Step 2: In the shower I exfoliate with my Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser (has fine bamboo grains in it). It feels wonderful!

Step 3: Also in the shower, I then wash my face with Clearsil Ultra Daily Face Wash.

Step 4 (I do this one about 3 times a week): Out of the shower I take my Biore Pore Strips and remove my blackheads.

Step 5: I take my Josie Maran Argan Oil (but unfortunately at the moment I'm out of it, so when I don't have Argan oil I use my Philosophy when Hope Is Not Enough Serum) and I apply it under my eyes (where crows feet will come), where life lines will form, and where worry lines will form)

Step 6: I take my Kate Sommerville Oil Free Moisturizer (best thing I've ever bought in my life) and apply that all over my face and neck

VOILA! J'ai fini! (I'm finished!)

Oh my god. Oh my god.

Yesterday I had a blog post about jumping back into my working out. Holy shit. Pretty much.

Ok, I felt like I had never lifted a weight before in my life (and I took a 6 day break?). Yeah, I puked half way through the first set of exercises. I puked halway through the last ones too. I saw dots the whole time. I didn't do any cardio because I was scarying my trainer. I walked upstairs and literally didn't just lay on the couch....I collapsed. I seriously couldn't take one more step without passing out. I sat there and violently shook for around 10 minutes. They weren't like...little shakes that are normal...Like my whole arms were shaking a LOT.

Worst thing ever, and I'm not trying to be dramatic there.

Guess what I'm about to go do....

Yep...work out...this time my legs...which will definitely make me puke...hopefully I just pass out so that I can stop.

=(

I feel really discouraged. *tear*

Any requests put them in the comments!!

Blog: Jumping back into it

So, I'm pretty stable on my pain, so today I am going to work out today.

I'm actually really scared. I feel so exhausted and I feel like I'm going to be so much farther behind than when I left off.

I reached my first goal weight today, so as long as it's that weight or lower tomorrow then I get to reward myself...with an antique owl decoration! YAY, So at some point (as long as I stay at or under that weight) during this week I'm going to go to a vintage/antique shop to find an owl. YEP YEP =D

So, anyways...my trainer will be here at 4:00. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I don't wannna do it. I'm super hungry and just want to chill out and rest. I wanna do my homework, catch up on my old TV shows that I missed last night, and go sleepy. =( But from 4-6 I get to work my ass off. (literally.)

Oh well. It's worth it in the end right? It feels like the end is so far away though.

First goal weight down though. Yay.

I think my mom wants me to cook dinner tonight. I'm making this orange chicken (atkins approved) stuff. Yep yep. It'll probably be gross. But yeah.

Hmmm
