My (face only) Skin Care Routine

Step 1: I start off with removing as much makeup as possible with my Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towlettes.

Step 2: In the shower I exfoliate with my Yes to Carrots Exfoliating Cleanser (has fine bamboo grains in it). It feels wonderful!

Step 3: Also in the shower, I then wash my face with Clearsil Ultra Daily Face Wash.

Step 4 (I do this one about 3 times a week): Out of the shower I take my Biore Pore Strips and remove my blackheads.

Step 5: I take my Josie Maran Argan Oil (but unfortunately at the moment I'm out of it, so when I don't have Argan oil I use my Philosophy when Hope Is Not Enough Serum) and I apply it under my eyes (where crows feet will come), where life lines will form, and where worry lines will form)

Step 6: I take my Kate Sommerville Oil Free Moisturizer (best thing I've ever bought in my life) and apply that all over my face and neck

VOILA! J'ai fini! (I'm finished!)

Any other requests, comment below!

Oh my god. Oh my god.

Yesterday I had a blog post about jumping back into my working out. Holy shit. Pretty much.

Ok, I felt like I had never lifted a weight before in my life (and I took a 6 day break?). Yeah, I puked half way through the first set of exercises. I puked halway through the last ones too. I saw dots the whole time. I didn't do any cardio because I was scarying my trainer. I walked upstairs and literally didn't just lay on the couch....I collapsed. I seriously couldn't take one more step without passing out. I sat there and violently shook for around 10 minutes. They weren't like...little shakes that are normal...Like my whole arms were shaking a LOT.

Worst thing ever, and I'm not trying to be dramatic there.

Guess what I'm about to go do....

Yep...work out...this time my legs...which will definitely make me puke...hopefully I just pass out so that I can stop.

=(

I feel really discouraged. *tear*

Any requests put them in the comments!!

Blog: Jumping back into it

So, I'm pretty stable on my pain, so today I am going to work out today.

I'm actually really scared. I feel so exhausted and I feel like I'm going to be so much farther behind than when I left off.

I reached my first goal weight today, so as long as it's that weight or lower tomorrow then I get to reward myself...with an antique owl decoration! YAY, So at some point (as long as I stay at or under that weight) during this week I'm going to go to a vintage/antique shop to find an owl. YEP YEP =D

So, anyways...my trainer will be here at 4:00. Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I don't wannna do it. I'm super hungry and just want to chill out and rest. I wanna do my homework, catch up on my old TV shows that I missed last night, and go sleepy. =( But from 4-6 I get to work my ass off. (literally.)

Oh well. It's worth it in the end right? It feels like the end is so far away though.

First goal weight down though. Yay.

I think my mom wants me to cook dinner tonight. I'm making this orange chicken (atkins approved) stuff. Yep yep. It'll probably be gross. But yeah.

Hmmm

If you have any requests please comment below!!!

Hardcore Spring Fever

Okay, so can someone say SPRING FEVER?!?

Oh my god you guys, It's crazy. Yesterday it was 68 degrees out!!??! Ummm, it felt like heaven compared to this nasty nasty winter. But today...it dipped back down to 43. =(

It's so cold and dismal out again. I JUST WANT SPRING TO BE HERE!

I just got some nice drugstore SPRINGISH makeup, so if you want a spring tutorial give requests in the comments!

I also ordered some clothes online from Forever 21....can ya say win?!

I got some capris, new jeans, a pair of shorts, some cute shirts, a beautiful watch, and a necklace. So YAY! I can't wait until they get here. I'm in despereate need for clothes...because my wardrobe is this: WINTER CLOTHES and SUMMER CLOTHES. And at my school we can't wear "summer clothes" (ex. tank tops, sandals, and shorts) so some capris, lighter shirts, etc is a must.

I also got everything in a size smaller, so that I can have a goal to fit into them! (Which I'm so close to!!)

Anyways, requests in the comments pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

And click that follow button if you'd like pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!!!

NEWS NEWS NEWS

HEY!!! GOOD NEWS!!! I JUST FOUND MY OLD CAMERA!

Okay, so it was kind of a crazy process...I found this cord and I was like OH MY GOSH IT'S MY CAMERA CHARGER (that I thought was long gone). There was only one problem, it wasn't charging.....

It turned out that the battery was shot.

So I drove to Target and looked for a battery there, and I didn't prevail. They didn't carry my type. BUT FEAR NOT, Anna found some other stuff...

ELF (otherwise eyes lip face) only comes to my Target twice per year. Once for the Holidays, and once in the summer. (So it isn't the permanent line, it's just the summer specials). Anyways, ELF has my favorite lipglosses, and there was a set 5 for $5, so I totally got it! I'll do a review on them if you want!!! I also got Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation in a lighter color (I got it in Buff my last haul) and when I mix Natural Ivory with Buff it's my perfect color, literally. SO YAY FOR THAT. I'll review those too if you follow me and comment below!!!!

So then, I drove to Best Buy and prevailed there!

I was playing around, and I noticed that my lighting isn't very good...It's hard for me to get the true color, my light makes them all look too similar. =/

Once I figure out the lighting situation I'll definitely post tutorials, and pictures of the stuff I'm talking about and all that good stuff. Yep yep!

SO PLEASE FOLLOW ME IF YOU WANT! and have a fantastical day =D

Cleaning cleaning cleaning

Ah, so last Tuesday (aka March 15) I began a project of decluttering my bed room. If you've been reading my blog you know that I became ill on Wednesday (March 16) and since then have been sleeping on the couch. The reason being, I have put all the stuff that I'm not donating/recycling onto my bed, thus occupying the space.

Well, today I chunked two hours into continue going through my stuff.

5 garbage bags of trash, and a plethora that I'm donating. It's crazy. I have way way way too much stuff and it feels fantastic to declutterize. I actually enjoy being in my room now, haha!

Yep, so my room is about 3/4 of the way to it being completely perfect.

Anyways, I'm STILL not done decluttering, but I'm at my tail end of it.

After decluttering it, I'm going to super organize everything so that every single item has its own place. Yayyyy.

Hm, that is allll. Oh my carpet needs some serious vacuuming, but I hate bringing a vacuum into my room, I feel like it doesn't fit anywhere. =( Oh wellll!

If you have any requests for reviews, topics to cover, or anything! Please comment! I adore feedback, haha.
Please please follow my blog if you like it!

First Impressions: Drugstore Haul

YAY!!!! Thank you so so so so so so much to my first follower. =) I really hope you enjoy my channel, and thank you so much!!!

Anyways, so today I went to the store and I want to share with you what I got, and my first impressions on these.

1. Maybelline SuperStay 24 2-step color in"On and on orchid". FIRST IMPRESSION: I love these lipglosses, they stay longer than anything that I own. Their superstretch formula or whatever truly truly work. This obviously isn't my first run in with this product, haha. Well, I was looking for a nice purple/pink/berry color so in the store this looked puurrrr-fect. Well, unfortunatly on my lips it looks like a very very dark purple. It was really weird, and let's just say I wasn't thrilled with how it looked on me. I tried really hard to put a light amount on, but it still was really dark. I still think that I'll be able to make it work though, with glosses and what not. =) Any further questions, definitely comment below and ask!

2. L'OREAL Magic Smooth Souffle: FIRST IMPRESSION: Okay, so I bought this because I heard it was a lot better than the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (which I freaking love!) and it was reccomended to me. Well....I must say I still prefer the Matte Mousse product. I mean, this is good and all, and I definitely enjoyed using it, I just prefer the other. Also, I unforunatly got a color a little too dark for me (just a tad) and though it blends SUPERBLY (sp? haha) I get insecure thinking it's orange. Oh, the staying power seems really nice too....it's still on my hand, haha. I definitely like the texture and enjoy using it. Questions? comment and ask!

4. Neutrogena healthy skin liquid makeup: Ah, I am so happy I bought this. Usually I don't love liquidy foundations, I prefer creamy ones, I have a feeling I'll really fall in love with this. For one, it's a perfect color for me (thank goodness for the little tester paper in my store to see what color I was). I do wish that it had a pump, but no biggy. Also, I swatched it on my hand (why? I don't know, haha) and it doesn't seem to have lasted until now.....so I'll probably use a primer with it. Questions? Comment and Ask!

5. Garnier Skin Renew anti-dark Circle Roller: Before I continue this is the roller that actually is pigmented and conceals. I LOVE this product. I've never in my life noticed such a difference in my horrid dark circles under my eye. I truly love it. EXCEPT MY IDIOT SELF DROPPED THE CAP IN MY CAR AND IT IS NOW NO WHERE TO BE FOUND! =( So unfortunatly, it's going to dry out. When it does dry out I fully plan on repurchasing it, because I think it is that good! Questions? Comment and ask!

6. Organic Living Soy Based Candle in Birthday Cake: Ahhhhh it smells like real cake! It's super big! (that's what she said) It has faux sprinkles in it! It Smells great! It's ORGANIC! Wow, I know right? How much awesomer (nice grammar, eh?) can things get? I love it. So cute. I love it. (BTW, I bought it at Bed Bath and Beyond) Questions? Comment below and ask!!!

Yay! So, definitely leave me requests for reviews, topics to cover, or anything!! I hope you enjoyed and follow if you'd like? I'd sure appreciate it.

I hope you have a fantastical day

This or that?!

1. blush or bronzer? Blush definitely takes the cake on this. I don't wear bronzer, unless I am countouring my cheek bones and what not, and I could definitely pass on that one....SO BLUSH

2. lip gloss or lipstick? Definitely lipstick. I feel like it looks more natural, and I like the color payoff and staying power a lot more than lipglosses.

3. eye liner or mascara? Mascara. I love my eyeliner, but I won't wear eyeliner unless I have mascara. Plus, mascara does so much more to your eyes. Definitely wins over eyeliner.

4. foundation or concealer? Definitely concealer. I'd rather spot cover my face, than apply one layer over all.

5. neutral or colour eye shadow? Definitely neutral. I mean, as fun as colors are, I would not want to be forced to use a color. Neutrals are good for all occasions and look more natural.

6. pressed or loose eye shadows? PRESSED! Gah, I know loose eyeshadows always have better color pay off, but they're so frustrating...I mean, I always seem to make a messsss!

7. brushes or sponges? Brushes win for this one. I feel like sponges don't last very long and they're always filled with a lot of bacteria. I'd rather pay a little extra for some brushes that I can clean and use over and over again.

Okay, so there are my choices! What are yours?

Blog: My life today

Hi people,

So today I went to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, and I'm absolutely exhausted from not eating and drinking (it hurts unbearably when I do, in case you haven't read my "gall bladder" pain blog post). I feel really weak and just tired tired tired.

My mom wants me to finish organizing my room, but I can barely type this now. I'm so hungry, but I'm so scared to eat. It's like the worst pain possible.

Anyways, I have a question: What's your favorite eyeliner (drugstore or highend)?

My all time favorite is Urban Decay's 24/7. Love them, even though they're super expensive. I personally think they're worth it....would you want a review on them?

Thanks for reading! Follow if you'd like. =)

Back from the doctors

Wahhh, I still hurt. Unfortunatly the tests came back negative for gall bladder stones, and what not. (Not that I wanted to go into surgery, but now I just feel silly). The doctor saw inflamation in my stomach something or another, so there's still something wrong. I'm going back in two weeks to do more testing if it doesn't get better between now and then

Now. I did something bad today everyone. Bad Anna. My mom convinced me that it was okay to have a milk shake because she thought it woudl cool down the pain that I have and be easy to kind of move through, rather than solid food. I caved. =( I drank 1/2 of it earlier, and 1/2 of it later to kind of mix it up. It's the first time I've cheated, and as good as it tasted...I'm a little diasppointed. Oh well.

Now, working out....I'm kind of nervous, because I really don't think I could work out with this amount of pain, but I don't want to completely just stop...y'know?

Maybe some light walking? (ugh, that seems so painful right now)

I don't know. I'm hoping this hiatus from working out will kind of like kick it into high gear when I go back to it. Since it's kind of mixing it up, hopefully I'll get a push after this. Hopefully.

Sigh, sigh, sigh.

Okay, until the next post. Au revoir.

My Current Diet

Hello, so it is 4 AM and I cannot sleep because of the pain in my upper right abdomen (going to the doctor tomorrow for it). So, I decided to tell you how I've been eating the past two months.

SOME BACKGROUND ON ME WITH DIETS: I've never stuck to a diet in my whole 16 years of being, except for this one.

So, with that being said. This diet is very similar to the Atkins Diet. The reason I say very similar is because I have never researched the Atkins Diet, so I don't really know the details of it. I just know that it's a high protein diet, low/no carb diet.

Pretty much, I eat no carbohydrates whatsoever, practically no sugar, basically nothing good! Hehe.

Foods that are allowed: All meat, non-sugary dressings, all green lettuces, green vegetables in general, berries, cheese. That's about it.

Foods that are banned: All breads, grains, carbohydrates, starchy veggies, carrots, all fruits except berries, and anything with more than 1-2 grams of sugar per serving.

Yeah, so as you can see this isn't the most balanced diet, but I did lose 12-15 pounds in 6 weeks (with weight training + cardio 3 days a week) so, I'm pretty happy with those results.

PROS WITH THIS DIET:
-lost the weight
-can see definition in arms, and noticebally smaller ankles (? haha), and mid section)
-learned to completely cut out all my favorite foods completely, cold turkey.
-lost my cravings for carbs and sugar, so my blood sugar has definitely improved
-definitely stronger (all that protein haha)
-learned self control and will power
-I can envision myself transitioning very nicely into a different diet without plummeting back into old habits

CONS:
-extremely limited (since I'm picky and only eat 2 kinds of meat, don't really like veggies that much either)
-boredom is hard to deal with
-got so sick of some foods that my throat literally closed and I wouldn't eat it
-believed to have caused this pain in my gall bladder (confirming it tomorrow at the doctor, I'll keep you guys updated in a future blog post)
-I personally don't believe it's a very balanced diet. I'm not getting nutrients from whole grains, most fruits, and some veggies.
-My ability to fall asleep has seemed to decrease (it could or could not be diet related)

Yeah, so that's kind of a summary of how this has been working for me personally.

As for exercise, I do circuit training for different muscles on different days of the weak for around an hour, and then I do 50 minutes of cardio with my heart rate in my target heart rate zone, usually on the elliptical (or treadmill). ***THIS IS ALL UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A PERSONAL TRAINER***

While exercising I have thrown up, numerous times, haha, which is new to me. I hadn't ever thrown up before (as a result of exercising).
I have noticed much more strength in myself, and who knew someone could feel so good after working out?

All in all: I'm not going to complain when I can stop eating so much meat. I actually plan on going vegetarian as soon as I'm allowed. I simply fed up (literally) from eating this way. Yet, I will continue doing so until I drop another 30 pounds.

If you have any questions feel free to comment. =)

Blog: I'm feeling ill.

Hello,

So the past two days I've missed school (and I plan on missing tomorrow as well) because of a horrid pain right below my right ribs. I have searched on WebMD and what not, and every single one of my symptoms point to gall bladder. This is unfortunate.

Let me break away from that aspect for a second. I am not doing well in Algebra 2 in school, which is causing me a lot of anxiety. I am the kind of student that has never gotten a C. Just A's and B's, and getting a C is just right out of the question. Missing these three days are going to put me even more under, and I start freaking out just thinking about it. I think tomorrow at the doctor I'm going to warn my mom about it. I know that she wouldn't really be happy with the C, but I do know that she wouldn't flip out over it. Especially since I really do try in that class, I am just having a lot of trouble understanding stuff. Anyways, back to my sickness.

The pain is unbearable at times, I constantly feel like I'm going to throw up (which I have), and I can't eat food without it turning 10 times worse. It's quite unfortunate actually, haha.

Wow, I kind of liked that whole venting about my grades thing up there, it feels like a weight has been off of my shoulder. So yay for that.

Hm, is there anything else that I should add?

Well, this has caused me to miss out on a couple of work out sessions, but perhaps that's been made up with the lack of food that I've been eating. Hopefully.

Oh, in case you guys are wondering, I am in fact 16 (going on 17). Just in case you guys are wondering.

I wonder if anyone will actually read this. *shrug* Alright, it's 1:11 am in the morning, I should probably go to bed, or at least wind down. I'm not tired. Le sigh.

Ciao.

-Anna

Yay first bloggie!

Bonjour!

Ok, so I'm not French, sorry.

Well, I suppose this is kind of an intro blog type thing.

Who am I? I'm Anna. This blog will basically consist of whatever I feel like talking about.

I totally love makeup and what not, so a lot of this blog will consist of reviews and stuffies like that.

Also, I'll probably blog a lot about the diets that I'm on, and what I'm doing exercise wise.

And maybe some days I'll just decide to blog about what's going on in my life.

Who knows?

Well, I hope you're having a loverly day!

-Anna
